Decisions on Applications

Applications are recorded in the Admissions and Access Service and then immediately referred to the course/research selector for consideration. After considering your application in conjunction with your references and transcripts the department may then invite you for interview or test.

The department will then take a decision on your application and forward it to the Admissions and Access Service. The Admissions and Access Service will send you a formal letter advising you of the decision. If you receive an offer it may be unconditional, or conditional upon your achieving further qualifications or providing evidence of competence in English (such as an IELTS or a TOEFL score).

The normal entry requirements for postgraduate taught courses and research programmes are specified in the Online Course Finder and Postgraduate Prospectus.
