QUB Dance aims to give all students the opportunity to dance, whether competitively in one of our teams, or recreationally in our classes. Although only team members are able to compete in competitions such as Intervarsities and NICMAC, all members have the opportunity to perform in our annual end of year showcase.
There are two dance teams: the QUB Elite Dance Team, for which members must audition at the beginning of the academic year; and the QUB Allstars Dance Team, for which members must audition at the beginning of the academic year; and the QUB Allstars Dance Team, which all members of the club are welcome to join. Team members are expected to sign a code of conduct to ensure their committment to the team. Both teams are required to attend weekly training sessions and classes held by QUB Dance. All team members are also encouraged to assist with the overall running of the club's activities ( such as promoting our end of year showcase)
Anyone wishing to gain Degree Plus without joining one of the teams is able to by demonstrating a commitment to the club either through regular attendance and development in one (or more) of our classes, or by joining our promotional and social team; organising and promoting club events.
QUB Dance allows members to achieve Degree Plus through Route A or Route B, depending on role and level of commitment.
