We want Queen's University student to be the public face of the Ulster Bank Belfast Fastival at Queen's - and in return you will have the chance to watch some truly amazing events for free! From daram and dance to classical and opera, rock and jazz, film and the visual arts, the Ulster Bank Belfast Fastival at Queen's brightens up those autumn nights for a marathon 16 day festival in October.
You will be part of the festival's marketing team in and around Queen's University and the city centre - handing out brochures, postcards and other promotional materials about the festival events and making sure that the public know that this major international arts event has arrived! You may also be able to help with the festival's social networking strategy - encouraging people to talk about us on facebook and twitter - and assist in organising education and outreach workshops.
You will learn the ins and outs of marketing and event management and get behind the scenes look at how this flagship festival comes together - plus there will be free tickets to some of the hot tickets of this year's festival!
To be eligible for Degree Plus through Route B, Festival Marketing Volunteers will be expected to commit to a minimum of 20 hours in total across September/October.
