For the majority of people, coming to Queen's as an undergraduate is a ritualistic coming of age, all your hard work has paid off, you have made it through your A-Levels and you are now ready to start the exciting journey towards your degree. Welcome Week will ensure that you become an official Queen’s Student, learn about your course, and provide you with the opportunity to meet other students.
Welcome Week runs from Monday 17th September - Friday 21st September and is the week before the academic year begins. The University will be alive and buzzing, with so many freebies to be had from free food and pens to free travel mugs for your caffeine fixes for any early starts!
What do you need to do?
- Complete the 2 stages of Enrolment & Registration
- Attend the Vice-Chancellor's Reception for New Students (this will be indicated on your School Induction timetable that will be emailed to your Queen's email account)
- Attend your School Induction programme
- Get involved with Central Events and Activities
- Collect your free gift!
