Home and European Union Students *
The standard tuition fees for the academic year 2011-2012 are set out below:
- Full-time Taught Courses & Research
£3,732 per annum.
- Part-time Research
Research leading to the award of a degree: £1,260 per annum.
- Part-time Taught Courses
The University operates a Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS) and the minimum number of Credit Points required for each qualification is as follows. The fee per credit point is £21.00.

Fees are assessed annually on the number of CATS points earned. Please note that not all courses teach an equal number of Credit Points each year.
International Students *
Tuition fees for the academic year 2011-2012 are set out below:
- Band 1 (Courses which are substantially classroom based)
Courses leading to the award of a degree or diploma (including the Certificate in Professional Legal Studies) and students undertaking a qualifying course for a Master's degree - £10,730 per annum.
- Band 2 (Courses which are substantially laboratory based)
Courses leading to the award of a degree or diploma - £13,145 per annum.
- Band 3 (Medical and Dental courses with clinical provision)
£26,534 per annum.
