Ann provides a dedicated careers education, information and guidance service to Computing students including managing the Year of Professional Experience and lecturing on the second year module ‘Professional Practice’, embedding career management and employability skills within the curriculum. She liaises with local, national and international companies promoting placement and graduate opportunities to students. She is Interested in developing web-enabled placement tracking systems.
Ann is a graduate of Applied Psychology and joined Queen’s Careers, Employability and Skills in 2001 as Careers and Placement Adviser for Computer Science. She has since gained the Postgraduate Diploma in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education. Prior to this, Ann worked as a Placement Development Officer at University of Ulster and as a Training Consultant.
