Internships
Internship Categories 
There are 2 categories of internships offered at Queen's:
- Internships for undergraduates
- Graduate Internships.
All internships are advertised via the CES Vacancies/Online Career Management System.
Sponsored Graduate Internships
Santander SME Internships: 
Queen's is delighted to announce that Santander is offering 10 internship opportunities with local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for Queen's graduates. These internships will be of 3 months duration and offer an excellent opportunity for recent (2012) graduates to gain some valuable, paid work experience (students who are in their final year may also eligible). Posts that have been approved by Queen's and Santander for inclusion in the scheme will have commenced by 30th June 2013 and will be advertised via the CES Vacancies/Online Career Management System.

Local SME's will be able to register their interest in this programme by contacting careers@qub.ac.uk. There are a number of criteria that apply to this particular programme including:

The post must be approved by Queen's University Belfast for inclusion in the scheme

It must be of 3 months duration (it will not be possible to negotiate on the length)

Interns are to recieve £1000 for per month through the programme. Santander shall contribute 50% funding towards this, the rest is to be paid by the SME

Interns cannot be paid more or less than the specified amount as detailed on the programme participation agreeement

Once approved, advertised and appointed, internships can start with immediate effect and all internships should have commenced by 30th June 2013

The scheme cannot be extended beyond August 2013.
