There are a number of careers media clips to help you with your career choices, applications, job search and the application process.

We have a number of careers video available through your Queen's Online account to help you with applications, interviews and assessment centres. You will need your user name and password to access your account and there is a link in the left sidebar titled "Careers Videos":

AGCAS At the Assessment Centre- shows real students and graduates being assessed by actual recruiters from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, HSBC and RWE npower in activities which commonly feature at assessment centres. It includes extracts from each exercise, selectors' verdicts and candidates reflections on their own performance.

AGCAS Journey to Work-Journey to Work shows a number of students as they prepare for life after university. The students talk about their career ambitions and what they have already done to maximise their chances of getting a job they want. They receive tips from careers advisers and industry mentors and are helped to see the value of networking.

AGCAS Journey to Work Case Studies-We then meet them again a few months later to see what progress they have made. What have they learnt? Which of them found the advice useful, have made new contacts, uncovered exciting opportunities, changed their minds or found a job? Graduate recruiters comment on the students' progress and tell us what makes an applicant stand out. The students themselves reflect and look forward to the future.

AGCAS Selection Success in One-

• Your Job's On-Line- This programme shows how applicants can maximise their chances of success when completing electronic applications. It shows two major employers selecting graduates using only their electronic applications.
• The Assessment Centre- This video shows what happens at a typical assessment centre when a major employer selects graduates taking part in a genuine selection day. We sit in on the selectors' sessions after each activity and discover how they assess the candidates' performance. 
• Big Opportunities in Small Businesses: Graduates in SMEs Working for SMEs - This video explores how graduates and SMEs can benefit one another. Graduates and their employers relate their own experiences and offer practical advice. There is one programme for graduates, which shows what it's like to work for an SME, and another for employers, which deals with the advantages of employing a graduate and the practical schemes available to support this.
