One to One Guidance

One to One Help at the Student Guidance Centre  

We can offer different kinds of support depending on your needs - feel free to use us as often as you need.

How to access

Information queries
Looking for careers information? Staff in the Student Guidance Centre can help you or refer you to a careers adviser.

During opening hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am–5.00pm

 

Careers staff are available in the Careers information area in the Student Guidance Centre between 11am and 3pm, Monday to Friday

Duty Adviser
If you have a quick query or need help with a CV or application form call in to see the Duty Adviser. Consultations last around 15-20 minutes

During opening hours, Monday to Friday 10.30am to 4.30pm

Out of teaching weeks Duty Adviser hours will be Monday to Friday 10.30am-12.30pm and 2.30-4.30pm

No appointment necessary – just call in. The service is operated on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis

Guidance interview
For a more in-depth discussion book to see the Careers Adviser linked to your School. Guidance interviews last for around 45 minutes and enable you to discuss your ideas and plans in detail
Available to current QUB students and QUB graduates within 2 years of completing their course

During opening hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am–5.00pm
