Maths Skills
We offer free one-to-one appointments on topics such as differentiation, integration, algebra, vectors, trigonometry, mechanics and statistics; if you would like to improve a specific maths skill, then please contact us.
One-to-one Appointments:
Appointments take place in the Student Guidance Centre, and are usually on a one-to-one basis and last one hour. To arrange an appointment, either email lds@qub.ac.uk, phone 9097 3618 or contact us here.
We have four tutors who provide maths support (Eileen, Mo, Oliver and Ryan) and we currently have appointments at the following times:
Mondays: 9-12, 1-5
Tuesdays: 9-12
Wednesdays: 9-5
Fridays: 10-1
If you are unable to attend any of these times, contact us and we will try to book an alternate time. Evening and Skype appointments are available upon request.
Drop-ins:
We are running drop-in sessions:
Mondays, 3-5pm in the MBC Biomed Library, Group Study Room
Tuesdays, 10-11am in the Ashby, 0G/40 (opposite vending machines)
Wednesdays, 1-2pm in the McClay Library, Gillespie Room (2nd floor, above CS Lewis room)
Wednesdays, 1-2pm in the SGC, Rm 12 (2nd floor) STATISTICS queries only
Fridays, 12-1pm in the SGC, Rm 12 (2nd floor)
