2011 Teaching Award Recipient
We offer free one-to-one appointments on topics such as differentiation, integration, algebra, vectors, trigonometry, mechanics and statistics; we also cover basic numeracy skills and help with preparing for psychometric numerical reasoning tests. If you would like to improve a specific maths skill, then please contact us.
Appointments take place in the Student Guidance Centre, and are usually on a one-to-one basis and last one hour. To arrange an appointment, either email firstname.lastname@example.org, phone 028 9097 3618 or contact us here.
We currently have four tutors who provide maths support and we have appointments at the following times:
Mondays: 9-5*, 6-9
Wednesdays: 9-1*, 6-9
*Statistics appointments available
If you are unable to attend any of these times, contact us and we will try to book an alternate time. Evening and Skype appointments are available upon request.
Mondays, 3.30-5pm - MBC, Biomed Library [basic numeracy, drug calculations, numerical reasoning tests and statistics/SPSS queries]
Mondays, 6-7pm - McClay Library, Auditorium [applied mathematics queries]
Wednesdays, 6-7pm - McClay Library, Auditorium [applied mathematics queries]
