Become a Mentor

If there is a mentoring scheme in your School already, recruitment for 2013/14 will take place between February and April 2013. The mentoring academic co-ordinator within your School will invite all students to an information session and then ask those students who are interested in becoming mentors to complete a personal statement or an application form. If shortlisted, you will be invited along to an informal interview.

If there is no mentoring scheme within your School and you would like to set one up for 2013/14, please contact Angela McQuade at ldspeermentors@qub.ac.uk before January 2013. ‘The Handbook for Schools Intending to Implement Peer Mentoring’ (currently being updated) contains information on how to develop and implement your own scheme.
