If you attend a minimum of 6 of our workshops within an academic year and complete a reflective summary of how these has impacted your academic performance then you will receive an Academic Skills Certificate.

This may be used towards an application for the Degree Plus award. If you are a final year undergraduate you must apply for Degree Plus by 1st April. As the Academic Skills Certificates are awarded in December and May each year it is therefore advisable that you qualify for the certificate by December.  In the event that you are not eligible until May, you may contact lds@qub.ac.uk for a confirmation letter to validate your eligibility for the Academic Skills Certificate, and this may be attached to your Degree Plus application.
