Student Gateway

Having attended 6 or more of our workshops you are now required to complete a reflective summary (up to 500 words).  Consider the following guidance: 

• What was your understanding of the academic skills before and after? 
• How and why did you apply learning from the workshops attended? (perhaps focus on one or two workshops in considering the impact/benefits of the experience)
• What have you learned about yourself as a student? (e.g. approach to studies, what was useful, what was not etc.)  
• What would you do differently?
• Has there been any wider impact?
• What are your future academic skills development needs?

Do not limit your statement to a description of the workshops, rather, discuss what you have learned about yourself.

 Following receipt of your application, you will be contacted to advise if and when your certificate will be awarded.
