Graduating students should be aware of the date of the ceremony applicable to their School and who may attend graduations, as well as other details and requirements for attendance.
Please note you cannot register for graduation until you have been awarded your final classification/result.
Candidates who wish to graduate in absentia or defer graduation may do so but nevertheless must register their intention through the same mechanism.
Degree students may only defer graduation twice.
All (paid for) In Absentia parchments and all Not to be Presented parchments will be posted out to all graduates by late August 2014.
If you graduate "In Absentia", and you have paid the fee of £10, your parchment is posted out to you to the Home Address on your records. These are posted out using Signed for Delivery Service which will require a signature on receipt. For those of you who are within the "Not to be presented" section of the Programme and did not attend the ceremony, you will also receive your parchment through the post.
Parchments for "In Absentia" graduands who have not paid the fee of £10 will be held at Student Registry Services. Once payment has been made to Income and Student Finance, please let us know so that we can post it out to you.
You can also collect your parchment from Student Records by bringing your payment receipt and photographic ID.
