Confirmed Schedule

Summer Graduation 2012

Monday 2 July - Friday 6 July 2012 (inclusive)

 

Access to the QSIS Graduation Wizard will be available from Thursday 24 May 2012. Please note you cannot register for graduation until you have been awarded your degree classification. For further information please click here.

Last date to register for Summer Graduation is Friday 22 June 2012 by 12:30pm. All students must go through the Graduation Wizard regardless of whether or not they are attending a graduation ceremony.

Please print and retain a copy of the Graduation Reference Page (Invoice/Receipt) after completing the Wizard, and read all information carefully.

The Graduation ceremonies (lasting for approximately one and half hours) will take place in the Sir William Whitla Hall, Main Campus, Queen’s University Belfast.

*N.B. Please note that the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences have been split over two ceremonies.

Graduation Registration Procedure - 2012

Eligible students will be able to register for graduation directly after viewing their examinations results via QSIS - also applicable to students who have deferred graduation.

You will be able to access the Graduation Registration Wizard through Qsis (Self Service -> Degree Progress/Graduation -> Register for Graduation) from Thursday 24 May 2012. Please ensure you enter the correct information before you complete your graduation registration.

Any subsequent changes to graduation registration must be communicated to the Student Records and Examinations Office, by phone or in person.

 

Fees/Gowns/Tickets

You must pay the graduation fee as soon as possible. It will be possible to pay your graduation fees online at the point of registration. The Graduation Reference Page must be retained and presented when collecting your gown and tickets at the times indicated.
