Some recent events .......

The Microscopy Facility has completed the relocation to new state-of-the-art laboratory space in the basement of the recently completed IRCEP.

The new JEOL 6500F field-emission SEM with EDX and WDS analytical facility has now been installed and is operational. The instrument was funded by support from the Invest NI RTD Centre Nanotec NI and the University.

As part of the relocation the Facility now has taken over running of a Digital Instruments D3000 Multi-mode scanning probe Microscope.
