The Institute of Spatial and Environmental Planning has been awarded a research grant for a new project: Knowledge - Innovation - Society - Space (KISS)
. ISEP(QUB) has been successful in this collaborative research bid with NUIM, MIC, ITS, NUIG, UL, UCC and DCU. The total award to the consortium announced by the Minister, Mary Hannifin TD, is €16.5m. The funding for ISEP will amount to €167,500 over 3 years, and provide for 3 half-year teaching posts, 3 student interns, 1 research visitor, 3 programme seminars, 4 conferences/workshops, and 1 Planning summer school.
