Karen is a Lecturer in Rural Spatial Planning and joined the School in September 2005. She is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway and University College Dublin, and before joining the School spent three years in the Department of Geography, NUI Maynooth carrying out research on rural housing in the Republic of Ireland.
