Welcome to the new PlanSoc website.
"My name is Brendan Dunne. I am the Chairman of the Planning Society at Queens University for the academic year 2003-2004.
Since my election last October with the other committee members we have been busy organising social and academic events. Each event has its own stories and pictures to go with the occasions, as you can see each night was filled with normal planning behaviour!!
From the outset this society is not just run by a few people, we have been given the mandate to run the society, but at all times we have tried to include all the different levels of students in the events we have organised. To be involved in a society or club at University it is the best way to get to know people in your own year but in other year's also.
With a few months still left in college for this academic year I would hope that all students would get involved and participate in the activities that will be organised." An Introductory comment from the Chairman |
