Theory   There are two main principles at the core of this project, which are: Partnership working: The building and working of a partnership between the Belfast Local Strategy Partnership (BLSP) and Queen’s University Belfast, via the Institute of Spatial and Environmental Planning, in the School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering. Participatory action-research: Conducting research that takes place in real-world situations, which hopes to create a positive social change and improve the practice of policy formation and planning. It is concerned not just to understand (research), but also to change (action). It's participative, facilitating joint reflection, learning and action for everybody involved.
