What We Do
Events at Queen's provides venues within Queen's University Belfast for corporate, civic or private functions. With over 100 buildings of special or historical interest within its estate, Queen’s can provide a venue to meet almost any conceivable interest or need.
Our full-time professional team have organised events at the University for international dignitaries, royalty and presidents. They will bring the same passion and attention to detail to ensure that all your requirements are met.
Events at Queen's is also responsible for organising University core events, such as graduation and provide an event management consultancy service to Schools and Directorates within the University.
To manage such a high profile portfolio of events, the events team engage many in-house teams and external suppliers and have a bank of contacts that they work with regularly. The team are greatly supported by their in-house catering, porterage, estates and media services teams and also work with musicians, lighting / sound teams, performers, gift suppliers and florists to enhance each event.

Business Development Manager
Grainne joined the University from Hilton Hotels and Resorts in 2016 and has a wealth of Business Development experience. She would be delighted to meet with you to discuss how our facilities can fit the needs of your business or organisation. Grainne is a music lover who has swapped gigs for school plays as mother to two small boys.
Events and Conferencing Manager
Angela provides Event Management services for internal and external conferences and events, as well as overseeing University core events such as Graduation. She would be pleased to develop a bespoke Event Management package for your conference or event. Angela is a classically trained musician.
Fionnuala joined Queen’s in 1992, originally managing the Great Hall kitchen, and has a wealth of knowledge of all aspects the University. She would be happy to show you our facilities, and can also coordinate conferences and events of various sizes. Fionnuala enjoys cycling holidays in Donegal and the Canary Islands.
Wedding Coordinator and Gown Store Coordinator
Kirsty oversees weddings at Queen’s and would love to show you around our venues and discuss your requirements. Kirsty also organises gowns during Graduation and she is the contact for schools, organisations and individuals wishing to hire academic costumes.
Rachel can advise on room availability and Event Management packages for meetings and events of all sizes.
Sales and Booking Assistant
Sarah coordinates the diaries of our Business Development Manager and Sales Executive, and would be happy to arrange an appointment for you to visit our facilities. She can also advise on room availability for your event.
