A Gift of Life
Come and see the work we are doing. There is much more to discover. Join us as we lead the fight against disease.
We are on the brink of something great. Your help ensures that we expand this important work. The impact of philanthropic gifts on Queen’s and the local economy cannot be overstated. Whether you choose to give a one-off transformative gift or legacy to a specific disease area, whether you want to make monthly or annual contributions, we invite you to find out more about our work and share our vision.
Generosity at all levels can make a real difference to our research. Many of our donors have been moved by the care they have received in hospital and want to support us in our efforts. This support is critical, allowing us to attract world-class researchers and to build the infrastructure and facilities we need for study. It means we can continue to combat and treat the major diseases of the 21st century such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, infectious diseases, vision related conditions and dementia.
We have won worldwide acclaim for our work so far but to achieve even more, we need your help. To discuss how you might contribute to the continued success of our research programmes, please contact:
Tom Simms was a successful businessman who wanted to
do something inspirational. While being treated at Belfast City
Hospital’s Cancer Centre he was so impressed by the care he
received, he asked how he could help others similarly affected.
The result was a legacy gift of £2 million to the University to
fund clinical cancer research.
