Once you have registered for graduation, the next stage is to pay the appropriate fee.
The graduation fee is £59, inclusive of tickets, gown and hood. Diploma in Nursing students fee is £64, which includes the official nursing badge.
The in absentia fee is £10; School of Nursing Students £15, includes badge.
The gown fee for the Institute of Lifelong Learning University presentation ceremony is £20. The in absentia fee is not applicable to certificates and diplomas.
ON-LINE: Pay your graduation fees at the point of registration. The receipt section must be retained and presented when collecting your gown and tickets at the times indicated on the reference page.
Paying on-line is the easiest and quickest method of payment, but if you are unable to pay on-line, you can also pay by the following methods:
IN PERSON: Take a copy of the reference page with the payment indicated on the page to the Income and Student Finance Office, Level 1 of the Student Guidance Centre, University Road.
BY POST: Print the reference page and return the complete page with payment, enclosing a self addressed envelope, to the Student Income and Finance Department (Graduation), Student Guidance Centre, Queen's University, University Road, Belfast, BT7 1NN, Tel: (028) 9097 2767. The latest day payment can be made via post will be 10 days before your ceremony.
If you are paying in person or by post you must retain your receipt ( the reference page stamped by the Income and Student Finance Department) to enable you to collect your tickets and gown.
Cheques should be made payable to Queen's University, Belfast and crossed. Write your student number and name on the reverse. Prompt payment is appreciated.
