Many first year students live in University accommodation in the Elms Village or Queen's Houses – ideal to help you make friends and settle in quickly to university life.
Queen's has over 2,000 places available, in self-catered, standard or ensuite single study bedrooms.
Preference is given to first year students, students with disabilities or international students.
Queen's has recently invested almost £45 million in providing excellent facilities at the Elms Student Village (see Elms Village Photo Gallery).
Prices for 2009/10 Queen's Elms rooms are extremely competitive and offer great value for money. Standard rooms cost £76.30 per week (including internet access) and ensuite rooms (including internet access) £90.65 per week.

For advice on private rented accommodation in the University area you should contact the Students' Union Vice-President Welfare. The Student Accomodation Office cannot book private accomodation on behalf of students.

Students may wish to check out 'Studentpad' a new website hosted by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. On this you can search through a listing of NIHE approved properties. The properties on the Studentpad website have not been inspected or approved by the University and students should satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the properties. Accordingly the University does not accept any liability in connection with these properties.
