Northern Ireland Melanoma Strategy Implimentation Group
Project Description
Multiagency group hosted by the Ulster Cancer Foundation to promote the implimentation of the Department of Health"s Regional strategy to control the increase in cases of Melanoma, a serious skin cancer, and other skin cancers. It works intersectorally using lobbying. education, training and research to promote change and care in the sun.This has developed international links and successfully lobbied re sunbed removal from district councils, developed a major public education campaign.
