ABC - Basic Life Support in Primary Schools

| Project Description A student designed scheme (MEDSIN) to teach year 7 school children basic life support skills when dealing with someone who has collapsed. How to obtain assistance, how to assess whether or not they are conscious, are breating, or have blood circulation. How to give mouth to mouth respirations and chest compressions and how to position a collapsed person in a safe position until expert help arrives. Over 430 primary schools have enrolled in the training programme. |
