Psychosocial Approaches in the Treatment of People with a Mental Illness.
Project Description
This outreach programme gives people an opportunity to learn more about what is current best practice in the treatment of people with a mental illness such as schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder and bi-polar disorder (manic-depression).
 
   
 
Supporting Partners: Funding for this project is through Out and About. Out and About is a project aimed at the integration of people with a disability that has been funded by the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Border Region. It is located in Armagh City.

Hosting School / Unit: Currently the Institute of Lifelong Learning, Armagh Campus and School of Nursing and Midwifery

Target Audience: People receiving mental health treatment, families and informal carers, providers of mental health services: statutory, voluntary, independent.

Start Date - End Date: Flexible: Beginning of semester one or two, or both.
