The Science Spot
Project Description
"The Science Spot" is a "hands-on" science workshop for children aged 7 to 11. Suitable for hosting in primary schools, church or community organizations, the 60 to 90 minute workshop involves the children conducting a series of safe, fun and educationally stimulating science experiments. Examples of experiments include: "The Great Green Slime Experiment" (where the children make green slime!), "Splitting the Smartie" (where the children separate the coloured dyes used to coat Smarties), and "The Postcard Puzzle" (where the children learn how to cut a postcard in such a way that they can step through it!).
