Project Description
SWOT organise ongoing events during the year such as blood pressure clinics in shopping centres etc. The highlight of the year is the SWOT fashion show when the Whitla Hall is taken over for the evening for an extremely professional fashion show organised and presented by the undergraduate medical students. Students and even some members of staff, take to the runway and are supported by various local hairdressers, model agencies, local sponsors etc. SWOT make an average of £50,000 per annum, most of which sponsors vital medical supplies which students take to third world countries on their overseas elective in final year.
