| Project Description The aim of the project is to make information on local history avaiable on-line to schools. Local history projects are commoly undertaken at Secondary School level but information for these is often difficult to obtain . The initial part of the project consists of making Lewis's Topographical Dictionary of Ireland available. This was a survey of every parish in Ireland published in 1837. County Down is now avaialable on-line and the remaining Ulster counties will be added in the future. |
