Public Affairs

Public Affairs is the central co-ordinating hub for the University’s outreach activity with elected political representatives and government. It acts as a point of contact for external opinion formers seeking to engage with the University and as a first port of call for staff across Queen’s looking for help and advice in their dealings with elected representatives and government.

What we do.

  • Develop and maintain  two-way communication with elected representatives, government officials and political parties;
  • Positively promote the reputation of Queen’s among stakeholders;
  • Ensure key messages and corporate objectives are high on the agenda of those who can affect change;
  • Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the University in local, national and international political arena.
