Queen’s aims to provide an enhanced learning experience for its students, and wants to ensure that the positive work of the University is felt by the local community, and by the wider community throughout Northern Ireland.
This is achieved by working closely with the local residents on things such as the Neighbourhood Forum and Residents Meetings.
It also launched the ‘Do you turn in to a monster after dark?’ campaign.
This educated students in how to be better a neighbour, and how to act responsibly in public. It also informed students of the disciplinary codes in place, should a QUB student behave inappropriately.
It also provides an enhanced learning experience for students and the community through events such as the St Patrick’s Day Festival and by forming partnerships with students and the Students’ Union.
