Records Management

Good records management is essential for the University to operate as a modern and efficient organization that is able to sustain growth and manage change. It not only underpins existing Information Security policies but is also a vital part of compliance with two major pieces of legislation – the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. It is also necessary in order to comply with other legislative provisions and EU directives, such as the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
