Membership Committee
Terms of Reference:
The Membership Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Senate for co-option to membership, and for the filling of casual vacancies inthis category of membership. When making nominations, the Membership Committee shall:
| (a) | Take account of the experience, expertise and interests of the individuals under consideration and attempt to balance these with the needs of Senate. | |
| (b) | Pay particular attention to the need to introduce new members who might bring a fresh approach to the work of the Senate, whilst recognising the desirability of maintaining some measure of continuity in membership. | |
| (c) | Take account of the University's aspiration that the membership of Senate has adequate representation from both genders and both communities in Northern Ireland. |
