Role of Postgraduate Student Centre

The new International and Postgraduate Student Centre is now open for business. The Centre is located in the former Seamus Heaney Library, and will provide dedicated support to international students on the ground floor, and support to postgraduate students on the first and second floors. In parallel with the Student Guidance Centre and the Students’ Union, the Centre will act as a hub for all aspects of information, advice and guidance for international and postgraduate students.

Centre opening hours are from 9.00am - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The service hubs for the Centre will be:

  • Cultural awareness training

Second Floor: Social and Study facilities

  • Social space equipped with latest communication facilities, hotbird satellite and light catering facilities
  • State-of-the-art open access centre with 48 computers and additional desk space for student laptops (WiFi available)
  • Postgraduate Students' Association Office

The services of the Centre will be delivered on a hub and spoke basis, and dedicated study and social facilities are available for postgraduate students on the Second Floor. All queries should be directed, in the first instance, to the team of Information Assistants which will be in place shortly.
