1. Supervising Research Students course for members of academic staff new to the supervisory role
The Postgraduate Office organises and co-ordinates a one-day 'Supervising Research Students' course for members of academic staff new to the supervisory role and also provides update and best practice sessions for other supervisors. The Supervising Research Students course is compulsory for new probationary members of staff and aims to provide guidelines and strategies for the successful supervision of research students.
