On 21 February 2012 Professor John McCanny, Director of ECIT, delivered a public lecture entitled Research and Innovation: Successful Models for Economic Impact in the Great Hall, Queen's University.
The lecture explored the impact that research can have on the economy when it is focussed on appropriate areas, and was attended by over 150 people from a wide variety of sectors.
