2012/2013 Tuition Fees

From 2012 Queen's University Belfast will charge £3,465 to students who normally live in Northern Ireland on full time undergraduate programmes. Students will not have to pay upfront for tuition.

Students from Northern Ireland

Students studying here will be able to apply for a loan for tuition for the full amount of the course costs, a living cost loan and a non-repayable living cost grant.

• Living Cost Loan
  
  Up to £3,750 is available for students living away from home and you won't have to start paying it back until after you graduate, and only then once you're earning over £15,795 a year.
  
  
• Living Cost Grant
  
  A living cost grant of up to £3,475 may also be available depending on your household income, and it doesn't have to be repaid. For more information see www.nidirect.gov.uk
  
  
• Queen's Institutional Bursary
  
  An Institutional Bursary is available from Queen's depending on your household income.

Students from England, Scotland and Wales

From 2012 Queen's University Belfast will charge £9,000 to students who normally live in England, Scotland and Wales on full time undergraduate programmes. Students will not have to pay upfront for tuition.

Students from England

Students from England studying in Northern Ireland will be able to apply for a tuition fee loan for the full amount of the course costs, a living cost loan and a non-repayable living cost grant.

• Living Cost Loan
  
  Up to £5,500 is available for students living away from home and you won't have to start paying it back until after you graduate, and only then once you're earning over £21,000 a year.
  
  
• Living Cost Grant
  
  A living cost grant of up to £3,250 may also be available depending on your household income, and it doesn't have to be repaid. For more information see www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk
