The University offers opportunities for students to take time out from their own institutions and spend either one semester or a full academic year at Queen's. The Irish Studies International Summer School provides lively interdisciplinary teaching across disciplines such as history, politics, literature, anthropology, conflict resolution, language, folklore and archaeology. Students are drawn from all over Ireland, and as far afield as Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and Australia.
