We encourage you to apply as early as possible

As part of the University’s Student Portal, you are able to submit an application online for admission to the vast majority of postgraduate programmes (see exceptions below) and also for awards administered by the University.

For 2012 entry, the online application should not be used for the courses listed below but forms may be requested from the relevant areas and/or downloaded from the website.

When to apply

In general, there are no closing dates for taught degrees or research programmes (see exceptions below). However, we encourage you to apply as early as possible. This is important because a number of our programmes receive more applications than there are places available and arrangements may have to be made for tests, interviews and the collection of references, where required. In addition, international students need to allow time to obtain a visa.

If you are seeking financial support, you should refer to the relevant School’s web page for information on deadline dates for postgraduate funding applications, as these will also determine when your application for a place should be submitted. Closing dates apply for admission to the programmes listed below.
