Payment Options for International Students

As a condition of completing the enrolment / registration process, in September all students must either:

  1. Provide evidence of sponsorship or scholarship from a government or other official organisation, OR
  2. Pay the total annual fee. Please note that cash will NOT be accepted at any of the enrolment sites OR
  3. Pay an advance of 50% of their fees, the balance being payable on invoice by January 2011 , OR
  4. Pay by Direct Debit :
    25% of the total fees must be paid at enrolment.
    Direct Debit Mandate and Advance Notice Waiver form must be completed.
    Direct Debits are taken in three equal payments at the end of December, January and February, or within four working days of each date.

    The direct debit facility is only available to those students who have a UK current bank account (not savings account) which is recognised by the Direct Debit Scheme.

NOTE

Cash CANNOT be accepted at any of the University Enrolment sites.

Tuition Fee Liability for Student Withdrawals

The University policy on tuition fee liability, for all students commencing a degree course in September, is as follows:

  • Students withdrawing on or before 30 November will have their fees cancelled and a refund issued, if appropriate.
  • Students withdrawing between 01 December and 28 February are liable to 50% of the full fee.
  • Students withdrawing from 01 March must pay the full fee for the year.
