Queen’s University has established itself in the premier league of UK research-intensive universities.

The UK wide research assessment exercise (RAE), announced on 18 December, shows Queen’s has 11 subject areas ranked within the top 10 in the UK and 24 in the top 20. With almost 800 staff submitted, every area had research assessed as world leading.
