Title For payment of the principal of £120,000 in discharge of so much of the national debt, and for granting to his majesty an additional duty on wine, silk, hops, china, earthen, japanned or lacquered ware and vinegar, and also a tax of 4s. in the pound on all salaries, profits of employment, fees and pensions, to be applied to discharge the interest of the said principal sum, until the same shall be paid, and also to pay an interest of £4 per cent per annum for the sum of £117,500, which will remain due after payment of the said sum of £120,000, and towards the discharge of the said sum of £117,500, or so much thereof as shall remain due on the 25th day of December, 1751.
