  • Rubrication, sigla: item 1: 4-line cap at ?new section, infilled, with pen flourishes into margins, prob. in colours; 2-line caps at chapter headings, infilled, with pen flourishes into margins, prob. in colours; chapter headings prob. in red; paraphs in margins; chapter numbers as side notes. Item 2: 2-line spaces for caps; chapter headings with numbers and spiral line markers, poss. in blue, until chapter 20, afterwhich only spaces; occasional side notes; catchwords in half-boxes; ascenders of some top line letters extended into margin, sometimes decoratively, e.g. fol. 63r. Item 3: space left for 3-line cap on fol. 192r; spaces left for chapter headings. Item 4: stanza headings.

5. Notes:
The scribe left room for rubrication which was never completed. The last item is fragmentary, so it is not certain that the C14 binding leaves were a later addition or part of the original production process.
