Imagining History: Perspectives on late medieval vernacular historiography
Welcome to the Imagining History Portal
The Imagining History Portal is designed as a resource for scholars and students of late medieval and early modern historiographical writings - initially, in English, but in future in the full variety of European vernaculars. Originally designed to support the Imagining History project, a project on the Middle English Prose Brut funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Portal provides access both to that project's electronic outputs, but also to pages authored by the scholarly community on medieval and early modern historiographical writing of all kinds.
