African Regions

These pages deal with African regions not already dealt with by the Imperial Archive. It hopes to focus on the historical, political and social aspects of Africa in literature. It attempts to look at the Image of Africa as well as wondering about the way Postcolonial Theory plays a role in creating this image.

This project was completed under the direction of Dr Leon Litvack as a requirement for the MA degree in Modern Literary Studies in the School of English at the Queen's University of Belfast. The site is evolving and will include contributions from future generations of MA students on other writers and themes.
