Thank you for visiting the Queen's Part Time Executive MBA website.

The Queen's part-time executive MBA is provided by Queen's University Management School.  The School has been consistently ranked within the top ten UK Business Schools in the Times Higher Education league tables.   We constantly strive to maintain and exceed the expectations associated with that kind of recognition and particularly in the provision of our MBA programme.

The MBA has been described as an internationally recognised passport to a successful management career. The Queen's Executive MBA Programme is a two-year introduction to the advanced study of business administration which is designed to be intellectually stimulating and challenging. Teaching draws on research carried out by staff within Queen's University Management School and by researchers elsewhere. A key aim of such research is to inform and enhance management practice.

The aims of the programme are as follows:

• To develop and enhance the knowledge and leadership capabilities of highly motivated middle managers to enable them to progress to strategic management positions in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
• To develop and enhance the knowledge and leadership capabilities of highly motivated individuals in specialist posts to enable them to progress to strategic management positions in the private, public and voluntary sectors.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the programme you will:

• Have developed and enhanced your knowledge and leadership capabilities through the advanced study of organisations, their management and the external environment in which they operate
• Have had opportunities to apply your acquired knowledge of organisations and management in practice
• Be better prepared for leadership and strategic management positions
• Have enhanced your lifelong learning skills and personal development

While the Executive MBA is an intensive programme which requires time and commitment, we are confident that the two years spent gaining the MBA qualification will prove interesting, enjoyable and profitable.
