Sorting out what you might do after graduation takes time. You need to start this process early, ideally in year one, by doing the following:

- gaining your work experience
- building employability skills
- developing career management skills
- You will be advised about work experience opportunities during your undergraduate studies (Dr M Hall and the Boots Teacher Practitioner, Mrs Alison Buchanan)
- Information will be provided on the application process and opportunities for pre-registration placement in Hospitals (Ms J. Barry)
- Information will be provided on the application process and opportunities for pre-registration placement in community pharmacy e.g. Boots, Lloyds, UCA (Ms J. Barry)
- Personal Development Planning (PDP) will be introduced to you during your first semester. This will encourage you to critically reflect upon your skills, achievements, strengths and weaknesses. This will help you set and achieve career goals from level 1
- The Careers notice boards are also updated regularly with notices of part-time employment for undergraduates and information on pre-registration places from a community, hospital and industry background.
