Library Facilities

In addition to lecture notes all Pharmacy students are expected to consult the relevant text books recommended for each module and also may be expected to consult other materials such as articles and papers published in academic journals. Students have access to all University Library facilities; however, the text books and journals that are recommended for the MPharm programme are all available from the Biomedical Library located on the ground floor of the Medical Biology Centre.

The Biomedical Library contains an extensive collection of reading materials relevant to Pharmacy and library staff are available during opening hours to help and provide information about availability of materials and how to use the library. They can also direct you to your subject librarian for more in-depth assistance regarding the use of the library website, search facilities and databases.

All Pharmacy students receive an induction to library facilities during the first week of Level 1 and further specific training is provided throughout the MPharm programme.
