The Medical Polymers Research Institute (MPRI) brings together researchers from the School of Chemical Engineering, the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Pharmacy at Queen's University Belfast to develop new polymeric materials, products and processes for the medical devices and drug delivery industries.MORE







Fundamental and applied research on polymeric biomaterials, passive and active (drug delivery) medical devices and medical/pharmaceutical polymeric packaging materials, integrating innovative research from design, through processing to testing and evaluation.

MPRI Attendance at ESB 2005
During the month of September several members of MPRI attended the 19th European Conference of Biomaterials 2005 held in Sorrento, Italy. There they presented current research into areas such as; Degradable Polymers, Scaffolds and Nano-Structures and Composites. ...MORE
